A medium/large bore was chosen in the design of the JP051 Bb Trumpet to provide good resistance to younger players. The instrument also features an adjustable 3rd valve slide ring for improved comfort and ensures the player doesn’t outgrow the instrument. A rose brass leadpipe comes as standard supporting students and novices to achieve an encouraging sound. The inclusion of two water keys also helps those new to brass instruments to easily keep their instrument well-maintained.
